My favourite recipes on trail

Thai Peanut Ramen

  • 1 package of Ramen noodles
  • 1–2 spoons of peanut butter
  • 1 package soy sauce
  • 1–2 spoons of oil (alternative: olive oil package)
  • Chili sauce or flakes
  • Peanuts if you have (or use crunchy peanut butter)
  • optional: Lemon powder

Boil the ramen noodles without the flavor package (keep for next meal) and drain the water. Add all the other ingredients and mix well.

Oreo Meal

I will share the original Oreo meal with you. The truth is, that this meal can evolve and vary. In the end, it is only a pot of everything. The base is always Ramen or Ramen and mashed potatoes with everything you have left. I will share the meal that started it all.

  • 1 package of Ramen noodles
  • 1/2 package of mashed potato (if you have not burned out yet)
  • 1 package of tuna
  • Taco seasoning
  • Hot sauce
  • Whatever is left from the day (Nuts, dried fruit, M&Ms, cheese. Etc.)

Boil the ramen and add the mashed potato powder in the remaining water without the flavor package (keep for next meal). Wait a few minutes until the mashed potato has risen. Now add the Taco seasoning and hot sauce to your taste and mix well. Add tuna on top and sprinkle the leftover snacks from the day on top. Enjoy.

The Tex Max Wrap

  • 1 package Knorr Spanish Rice
  • 1 Avocado
  • Hot sauce

Cook up your Knorr package. When done, place rice into your wrap and add a few slices of avocado. Now add your hot sauce and enjoy a fancy night on the trail.

the I need more bar

  • A Cliff Bar (or any other bar you have with a sticky surface)
  • Gummy bears, M&M's, Chips etc

Unwrap your bar and place it in a zip lock bag. Now add all the required candy. Shake well and squeeze all candy into the Cliff bar. Now take out your masterpiece and enjoy.

The crunch wrap

  • 1 wrap
  • Peanut butter
  • Hot Sauce or Taco Seasoning
  • Trail mix, M&M's, Doritos or chips of your choice

Use a spoon to spread the peanut butter on your wrap. Now add the trail mix and chips on top of the peanut butter. Add some spice in the form of hot sauce or Taco seasoning on top. Now roll up your wrap and enjoy.

The classic wrap

  • 1/2 avocado
  • Tuna package
  • Cheese block/ stick

I think this is pretty straight forward. Put everything in a wrap and roll up.
